Barb's pasties has been a staple for 40 years and they're the only place in this part of Michigan that duplicates the copper country pasties from my childhood, up north, with my dad. Only way I can make them a little better would be if I made them myself. Trust me they're that good it's not worth the time, at home, and it's more than worth the price!
Hard to get a good pasty (even in the U.P. and these are not as good as my Finnish mother-in-law's but they're better than any other I've found down here in the past 20 years. Parking: Not a big passing lot but you are in and out and there's always been open spots when I've gone there. Wheelchair accessibility: No curbs, etc. to cause any problem.
I have always been greeted by friendly people. The pasties are really good. I remember my first time here, years ago, the guy serving me said, “You’ll be back once you’ve tasted this!” when I told him I’ve never had one before. He was SO right.
It's been there a long time. We always want to support family owned places. Pasties were delicious. Banana nut bread was good too. Kinda pricey. Reserva una mesa ahora
Fabulous little spot. Always greeted with a smile. Beef pasty are my favorite and I've enjoyed the pizza as well.
It was the first time I had ever ordered from there. Really good food!
