"We went to this great place for food and fun on Swiss National Day (Aug 1.) The place is associated with an old peoples' home - and only serves meals on special occasions. We all ate under tents, and there were activities for the kids; everything from a bounce house to carriage rides through the countryside pulled by horses. The food was mostly made on premise - and the whole ambiance was one of great fun.It turns out that these sorts of "meals in the country" have become a popular thing to do on Swiss National Day - and if you happen to be in the Luzern area come next August 1st, you might want to make reservations to attend this fun event."
