This restaurant is very popular with locals. If you are looking for traditional Swiss food and atmosphere, without tourist crowds, this is the place. The calf Cordon Bleu was excellent as the rest of the meal.

Baren is a very well maintained place 4 km outside Lucerne. Every time I go to Lucerne, I take a trip to Rothenburg to eat the fantastic Cordon Bleu and admire the fatastic Mountain View of this small town.
only with the ambiente is the local top. our three-course-menu with salat, bisonsteak (goes as butter in the palate) on the hot stone and a delicious dessert was simply the hammer. happy again.
beautiful village inn, traditional cuisine, slate bison (we haven't tasted, the next time maybe), excellent hunting, good meals for children, drunk but efficient service.
we were with a company of approx. 60 people in bear. eating was fantastic, the service attentive and very friendly and everything worked best.
