This newly renovated Berghaus is a real jewel. The large sunny terrace looks directly over the Bernese Oberland mountain ranges including the Jungfrau. Heidi's warm welcome and big smile wait for you an easy 1.5 hours walk from the Turren gondola station. Come for lunch,...a cold drink or stay overnight as we did to wake up with the mountains at your feet.

Stopped after some hiking. Sat on terrace and soaked in the beautiful view. Food was well prepared. The service was exceptionally slow and there was a large crowd with only one wait person. Admittedly this area moves at a slower pace which is wonderful. The wait was too extreme and many customers became irritated. Best not to take children.

love this place! the location is excellent (and they have definitely earned their beer/apple choir after hiking or cycling up here) the staff is super friendly and the eating delicious. I'd like to come back.
we went up to titlis, but the vision was cloudy. we decided to bring the gondola to lunch after jochpass. very few tourist. great lunch. they are just under the glacier. that was great. highly recommended.
