Barraca Do Antonio Coco

this is a great place for lunch while waiting for the afternoon bus back the fortress. There is a large covered dining room where you can lunch per kilo u request an extensive menu. after lunch you can enjoy the sun and sand between the palm trees overlooking the beach. with a cold beer u a caipirinha. there is free wi-fi and a pool. they even keep your luggage for you until the time to board the bus. recommended.

My friend and I went to this Barraca as part of an organised tour. It was a terrible experience as my friend ended up with 'used' skewer in his foot as the staff failed to clean the sand under the tables. The manager of the Baracca treated my friend as if he was to blame rather than his Barraca. The place feels badly run and certainly do not put customers first. Avoid if you can and try nearby Barracas instead.

we appreciate the place. was clean and food was good and fresh. the only complaint here is that the menu did not say when things were for 2 people (most places have this) and the served did not tell us that when we asked, we had a lot of food that was was wasted.
