Barracuda Cafe & Bar

Stumbled across this little gem while hunting for coffee in Interlaken with a friend of mine. The first thing that struck us was atmosphere - the cafe friendly, fun, and laid back. The walls are papered with guitars and chalkboard signs listing every coffee you can think of, and I deeply wished we hadn't just eaten lunch because the menu sounded fantastic. My friend's iced coffee was DELICIOUS (sweetened with maple syrup!), and my cappuccino was good; not the best I've had, but I enjoyed it and finished the whole thing. The drinks weren't cheap, but it seems that nothin in Switzerland is. The owner was there with her family, and the whole thing just felt like a local hangout and make-yourself-at-home kind of place. I wish we could be back for Sunday night jam sessions, but we only have another few hours in Swotzerland. So glad we found this place!

Happened upon this funky little place while we were wandering around the streets of Interlaken. It was the afternoon of a Rugby Union World Cup semi so we popped in as we saw it was being screened and everyone was loudly enjoying the match. Being Aussies were were delighted to meet the owner behind the bar...a guy from Melbourne Australia. We had a few drinks and some snacks and made lots of new friends.

We stay at the Matten hof hotel n resort so this cafe just 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is super friendly and very helpful. We try the coffee and the panini wrap it was so delicious and the coffee finally we drank real coffee cause in the hotel the coffee taste like instant coffee, so this place is save our morning !! Best recommended for traveler coffee lover

Enjoyed a crisp and freshly prepared panini along with a smashing cappuccino at this cozy place! Recommended for lunch. A bit hidden from the main tourist street is a big plus.

Un pequeño café bar con una decoración muy chula y un buen café.Si pasas por ahí es un buen sitio para tomarse algo.
