We were very excited to try out Barrio as we had heard so much about it! I made sure to book a reservation as it can be a very busy place. Unfortunately we will not be going back as it was very disappointing. I will sum up the issues below: We went for the frozen/soft serve margaritas and were told they were out, and changing over the sorbet so we would need to order something else. We expressed our interest to still have one when the became available but they were never delivered. Multiple other tables received them. We ordered chips and queso and were brought chips and salsa. Explaining the mixup to the waiter was not received well, and we waited another 15 minutes for luke warm queso with...
Definitely a Richmond Favorite! Such a unique spot for tacos! Staff was amazing! We seated quickly on a Friday evening and I really enjoyed our time visiting. Customer service here was out of this world and we loved the food! The softserve is definitely worth all of the hype! The watermelon Flavor was fantastic! Tacos were very well made and full of flavor. The decor was in all aspects unique and such a cool vibe and atmosphere. We will definitely be back again!
Sat at the upstairs bar for a weeknight dinner. Definitely loud and busy, but the food and beverage impressed nonetheless. Of course, I came for the soft serve margarita, which was fantastic! Their other drinks were divine, too. I especially liked the one with Green Chartreuse. Awesome tequila, as you'd expect, too! The corn appetizer was incredibly rich, almost bacon fatty, and oh so indulgent. The tacos were pretty good but pretty comparable to ones I've had
beautiful place to go with friends for appetizers and drinks. the food was well seasoned. the white sauce didn't like it. I thought it was a Mexican dinner, but not so much. more from an appetizer beverage place.

good food, but the service was terrible. the restaurant did not seem crowded or short staff, but it took forever until our waiter came by and then it went in this tempo for the rest of the night
Barrio has such a fun environment! The food was delicious and our waiter was so kind. We were celebrating a 21st birthday and she made sure that we did it right! Definitely recommend.
our hostess was great. welcoming, fun and welcoming, she made us all feel comfortable and greeted. we're going back. Oh yes, the drinks and the food were really good.
