We kicked off our meal with their award-winning fried green tomatoes. I was a bit skeptical at first, but they turned out to be spectacular—so much so that I completely forgot to take a photo! The fried green tomatoes were so impressive that we decided to stay for dinner. We shared an iceberg salad and the Mahi Mahi, and we sat at the bar where the service was excellent. I can't recall the bartender's name, but she was charming and attentive.

Everything was lovely—delicious food and great music by Mr. Charles A. Raiford, Jr. from Clubhouse Entertainment. However, it was quite chilly upstairs in the building. Several guests commented on the cold atmosphere, and some even had to put on jackets. While the music encouraged us to dance and helped us warm up, it wasn’t enough for everyone. A few people asked if the fans could be turned off, but we were informed that all the fans were on a single circuit, so they would need to switch them all off. We definitely plan to return but will be sure to bring light jackets next time. I’ve seen this issue mentioned frequently in your reviews. Thank you!
We waited nearly two hours for our meal. We were informed that the chef had recently been let go and that they were struggling to adapt to the situation, but we only learned this after we had already ordered. The waitress was inattentive and did not offer us any additional drinks. The issues in the kitchen shouldn't have affected the service we received. Many main dishes on the menu were also unavailable. Overall, it was not a good experience, and it felt like the staff expected us to sympathize with their challenges rather than striving to make our dining experience exceptional.
What an incredible restaurant! My best friend took me here for a Mother's Day dinner, and even though we arrived late, they were still able to welcome us. We pretty much had the whole place to ourselves! The owner was exceptionally warm and friendly, and the chef created some truly delicious dishes. I will definitely be coming back and will recommend this place to others!

The poor server was alone and dealing with both floors, the bottom floor was reserved for a private party. The owner was even helping. I was let down at first after reading the reviews; we waited almost an hour. Couple of missteps with drinks and sidesnot being available. The chef saved the day, the food was phenomenal. I lived in Goldsboro for about five years and only discovered Barrique after returning a year later. We go there every time now. The burger is amazing, the margaritas are perfectly balanced, and you absolutely have to try the truffle fries. It's a small dining space, but I consider it a hidden gem. It's ideal for a lovely date night.
The staff was limited but worked very hard to accommodate us. However, we had made a reservation for the downstairs dining room due to the steep stairs being an issue for my wife, and we were not informed that the lower dining room was closed.
I visited for the first time tonight, and it was incredible! The seafood pasta was the best I've ever had, and the watermelon cocktail was both delicious and refreshing. The staff was fantastic as well. We will definitely be back!

The customer service was exceptional, and the food was truly delightful. While it might be a bit pricey, I think it's worth every penny. It's also an excellent spot for a date!
