Gasthaus Barthels Hof

Had read some of the bad reviews for this restaurant but didn't believe. Our order was taken, drinks came but no food. Other guests who arrived later got their meal first. We were ignored by staff and asked twice before an hour half dinner...arrived. The meal was OK, but our evening spoiled. I see that the manager only replies to good reviews, never gives an apology.

we also had the most wonderful meal and a beautiful service. we even thought to come back our second night in leipzig and I wish we had it! it is a good restaurant with typical Saxon food; away from the tourist horizons in the market pza. My...hubby had wild boar and was very happy.

Thanks for the beautiful Saturday night! The lamb back with potato cake! a poem, The Rumpsteak right! Blue branch from the Unstrut absolutely delicious. The service attentive and beautiful....the ambience totally cozy. A successful evening on the long Leipzig weekend.

17.30 o'clock. the restaurant isleer. no one could not get a place after all, everything was reserved. quite honestly: until the other guests come, we're gone. so it is possible to chase the customership.

Very friendly and attentive service. Fantastic turtles. Centrally located in Leipzig. No secret drink, because the restaurant knows everyone. Nevertheless, it is highly recommended.
