Bartolini's - Reserva de mesa

After seeing the episode on Food Network highlighting this place we were able to taste the greatness for ourselves. Parking was easy, seating is plentiful and the a/c was nice and cool. Our server was awesome and walked us through the menu with ease. The Meatball Sub was the best I’ve had, tasty, flavorful, above expectations. We sampled a few dishes,-eggplant with mostaccioli and mozzarella, veal parmigiana sandwich. The next biggest standout was the large thin pizza with sausage, mushrooms, black olives. Tried the pizza for the 1st time. I have a very high standard for pizza. Top picks are John's Pizza in New York, Vito Nicks, Jimmy's Pizza Cafe, Piece Pizzeria. There was a strange smell from the pizza and then in my car. It turned out to be the sauce. Not a fresh San Marzano sauce. A heavy red sauce with chopped onions and tomato paste that overpowered the entire pizza. I could not taste the cheese or the slight spiciness to the italian sausage. Otherwise, an average tavern style pie with crispy edges and a soggy crust in the middle.

Wow, the combination of meatballs and cheese is truly irresistible. While the sauce might seem a bit bland on its own, that actually works in its favor, as it perfectly complements the meat and cheese. I polished off an entire large pizza by myself and still craved more, despite being full! The only downside was the crust, which was a bit like a tasteless cracker. However, it does a great job of holding everything together. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit or an online order. I'll be ordering again!

I’ve been eating at this restaurant for at least 20 years, starting with the original owner, who I believe was their father. Though I haven't visited in the last six months, I recently heard about their new location and passed by it. I plan to stop by soon and share my thoughts. The food here is typical Italian, with prices that are also average. The dining area next to the bar can be quite noisy, and the decor could use some improvement. They are famous for their meatballs, and you can order a 10-pound meatball sandwich for $75, which is impressive at nearly 10 feet long!

Havent been to bartolinis since the other location and was SUPER excited to bring a friend here. We ended up eating good but 45 mins later we both we on the toilet with pee coming from our butts. Shame. Yuck.

Best place , we used to go almost every week until we moved to Florida, now it’s a place we look forward to when we come to visit
