Food is very good. The Barzola chain is probably the best for Ecuadorian food compared to other restaurants. The price though is very high for drinks and food. The encebollado is always excellent, llapingachos is very good as well. We always get the empanada and it comes out hot and fresh and the mochines are the best. The soda in a cup with ice was the worst thing I've ever had. I bought two for later, but there was no later. Please stop serving drinks like that. However, the ceviche was delicious, even though it only had three shrimp.

Service is hit or miss especially for takeout orders. One day it’s the best the next it’s the worst and they portions have shrunk. I got an encebollado that was 90 percent yuca 10 percent fish. Food: 2 Service: 2
