Our waiter was very helpful as I had a lot of questions about the menu. The food was OK. The drinks from the bar were good. Would I tell people to go there? Probably not. The food was made to order and came out as requested. It was clean, and nice inside. If I lived in the area, it would be a nice place for a week night dinner out when cooking at home is not an option. We don't live in the area so we will probably not go back.
Bascettis is absolutely amazing. True Authentic Italian food that was the best I have ever eaten. The restaurant atmosphere is very cozy and I felt right at home. The owner Eddie is incredible he made several recommendations and actually cooked our meal. The staff was very courteous and kind. If you’re in the mood for true authentic food that is reasonable price please visit Bascettis I promise you will not be disappointed.
I had the Zuppa De Mare that is linguine, shrimp, clams,mussels, crab and calamari in a red sauce. It was very tasty and filling. The chef makes all the dishes southern Italian the same way his family has for generations. We had the tiramisu for dessert and I particularly liked that it wasn't too heavy on the coffee flavor. Overall a very nice experience with excellent service.

Good but not great Italian fare. The marinara sauce could benefit from improvement. My wife had the eggplant special over fettuccine and marinara and thought that it was okay. I had penne carbonara and thought that it was too soupy.
Our favorite place to dine in Dunedin. Excellent Italian food preparation and presentation. Happy hour deals are great while there is a good selection of wines. Service has been excellent every time we dined at Bascetti's.
bascetti 's is one of our favorite! always good eating and pleasant evening. excellent location to speak with good friends and to enjoy the food and wine. we like this to be our atmosphere.
