We did a date night here. Nice little place but a few things to note. Parking is a nightmare so splurge on the valet. But remember parking is a nightmare because of the city not the restaurant. The food was good it caught me off guard I wasn’t expecting it. Much better than most places in the area. The service was up there as well. Not overly attentive staff but they were just right. The atmosphere was ok. I used the bathroom and I think I got lost in the back of the house. Bottom line if you are in the area go. Remember do the valet and enjoy.
The host who greeted us last night was amazing. We came in out of town for the Arnold and I accidentally made our reservation for the night before. Although it was my mistake he got us in still. The food was fresh, and amazing. I typically only ever order anything with polenta at Italian restaurants but I'm glad I tried their smoked chicken carbonara. It was done so well! They even did substitutions for my boyfriends parents. Our waiter was polite and did okay not the warmest energy but he tried. He may have been newer. I would come back again.

I can't help but sit here in silence for a moment and appreciate how amazing this place is. Columbus is truly lucky to have it. I've visited multiple times and the food is consistently fantastic. The eggplant parmesan is so delicious, it's practically poetry on a plate. The atmosphere is unbeatable, with a romantic and beautiful patio that is unmatched in town. While many upscale restaurants in Columbus have left me disappointed, this one is the complete opposite. It never fails to impress me.

Gem tucked away in Victorian Village—by far the best Italian food in Columbus! The flavor profiles and wine selection are on point and best enjoyed on the private patio. Intimate, charming and perfect for date night. The eggplant parmesan is incredible! Those dark chocolate truffles didn’t stand a chance!
This place is an absolute gem. The food, service, and atmosphere were perfection. If you're looking for a wonderful place to rrlax and eat, thrn Basi is a must visit. Make sure to make a reservation as they do book up quickly!
We always enjoy this hidden gem. Located on a side street in a small house near Goodale Park, the restaurant is very unassuming but the food, service, atmosphere is fantastic. The back patio has a great vibe beautiful setting.

Always a solid choice. We've been coming for years. It was my birthday Monday and we stopped by. Everyone greeted me with happy birthday, it was special.
