My wife and I visited here this evening. She enjoyed the cold rolls for the entrée, and my Thai patties (fish, prawn & chicken minced together) were delightful. We shared a seafood red curry, and lemongrass crocodile for the mains. The curry was good but not outstanding - it had more vegetables than seafood, and would have benefited from a little more chilli. The crocodile, however, was delicious, with a blend of spices that complemented it beautifully. Serves are quite generous. We finished with Bailey's ice cream - hardly a traditional Thai dish but a good way to end the meal nonetheless.The wait staff were very helpful, particularly with regard to my wife's allergies to peanuts and gluten...
The Thai food at this restaurant is decent. I tried the mango barramundi, chargrilled kangaroo with black bean spicy sauce, chili beef, and Thai salad with squid kweh teow seafood. The beef and kangaroo dishes were good, but the barramundi was disappointing. Instead of a whole fish, it was overcooked fillets. The kweh teow and salad were watery and lacked flavor. One redeeming quality was the polite and friendly service. The sliced fresh chili provided a surprising kick. The total cost was around $120 ($15 corkage).
I recently ordered Kway Teow for delivery from this restaurant. It was supposed to be Flat Rice Noodles, as indicated on the menu. However, to my disappointment, they served Hokkien noodles instead, which I do not enjoy. I cannot understand how they could mix up the noodles like that. I will definitely not be ordering from them again.
