After reading the reviews, we were hoping to discover an excellent Indian restaurant. Unfortunately, this one did not meet our expectations. The starters were okay, but the main courses were lacking. The Tandoori mix was especially disappointing, and the special biryani wasn't much better. We are only giving it a 3-star rating because of the friendly staff. Dining in for dinner cost around £90-100 per person. The food quality was a 2, service was a 4, and the atmosphere was a 4.
Wow! What a taste sensation! A lovely chilled out atmosphere with no rush. Polite, attentive team, what a breath of fresh air from what has become the norm with eating out nowadays. We will have to go back to try all the tempting delights on their menu! My meal was so delicious but my husbands was equally so! Definitely going back with our friends and family. Cannot recommend this place enough.
Got takeaway from Namaste last night and will definitely be back! The staff were really lovely and they also suggested we order the set meal for 2 which was only £1 more than our order but included a starter and popadoms. I had a beautiful lunch here while visiting on holiday. Service was excellent, food was delicious, and most importantly I left with a smile and full belly. This restaurant serves the best Naan in the UK, without a doubt. I have dined at numerous Indian restaurants and typically opt for lamb Madras, and I must say that this was the best I have ever had. The service was excellent and matched the quality of the meal. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5.
