Basilico - Reserva de mesa

We discovered a hidden gem in the Miami airport area. Though it’s small, it was bustling with locals. The Italian cuisine was excellent and truly authentic. We began with a portobello mushroom topped with prosciutto and mozzarella, served on a fresh green salad. I ordered the veal piccata accompanied by capellini aglio e olio, which was incredibly tender and perfectly cooked. We also tried the chicken rollatini, served with creamy mashed potatoes and gravy, and it was delightful. We would definitely return!

Wow! A coworker suggested we try this restaurant, and I’m so glad she did. They truly have the best Italian food I’ve ever tasted—I've traveled quite a bit and nothing compares! My coworker even came all the way from DC just to dine here again, as she hasn't been able to stop thinking about their food since her last visit two years ago. The service was excellent too. I highly recommend this place! It’s perfect for an intimate dinner or a celebration.

The food is excellent, but for the second consecutive time, I ordered a lunch item and received a more expensive dish, seemingly in an effort to increase the tip. I addressed this issue with management during my last visit. This time, I paid for the meal, but I won't be returning. I've been a loyal customer for many years, but the staff seems to have changed—they don't seem to care about the business, only about the tips. Best of luck to them.

I went here for lunch. I ordered the salmon with extra vegetables. I like it when I can order a more paleo type meal. But I also ordered the portabella mushroom pictured below with the added vegetables. It came with a side salad and a cup of soup. The salmon was filling. I had to eat the rest of it for left overs. The side salad , the soup and the mushroom were all good. I like the more plant and mushroom dishes. I do recommend Reserva una mesa ahora

Luciano was incredible! I explained what I was looking for in a wine, and he perfectly matched my request. The atmosphere was absolutely fantastic! The entire staff treated us like family. And the food? *Chef's kiss!*

Great food and service. Was packed on the Friday night we visited. Fortunately we had called earlier and had made reservations. Quite small and quite loud the night we went so no quiet conversation.

The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance and a great menu. However, we had a negative experience with service from one of the waiters, Luciano.
