Usually can't fault this place. Attended with 3 friends early evening. Whilst trying to order the food, waiter put his hand up in my face and rudely grunted that he wasn't ready. ignored that, we all have bad days. Waiter who brought the food out just threw it down onto the table, we had to pass dishes around to where they needed to be. Food tasted great, however the chicken was so finely sliced and was nearly non existent. I understand the pressure to make money these days but this was criminal. Nevertheless still gave a decent tip, as decent people. No thanks, just more horrendous looks and out we go, never to return

We reserved the upstairs room for a hen party and it was a fantastic experience! The staff were very attentive, despite there being 16 of us and many changes to our orders. They remained calm and cool throughout. All our food came out together, hot and delicious. The staff efficiently sorted out individual prices and were unbelievably calm. They definitely deserved the tip! I would highly recommend this place.

Despite its claim of serving Indian cuisine, my recent experience at Basmati restaurant left much to be desired. The food lacked the authentic Indian taste I was hoping for, and I left without finishing my meal. For fellow Indian food lovers, I’d recommend exploring other options to avoid disappointment and wasting money on a subpar dining experience.

I have been dining at Basmati for a few years and I have never been disappointed. The staff is fantastic and polite, and the service is top-notch. The food is of the highest quality in Wigan. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in search of a great curry night. Reserva una mesa ahora

The food was delicious and served promptly, but unfortunately, the service was lacking and quite rude. It felt like our presence was a burden, even when ordering. I do not plan on coming back, as there are better Indian restaurants in Wigan.

Booked for delivery Poppodoms Onion bhajis 4 x Main meals 2 x Boiled Rice 2 x Chips 1 x Naan Bread Everything came Red hot All food was absolutely delicious You could not fault anything 10 out of 10 from the Greenough Household

Had this food delivered as takeaway twice this past week and the foid and service is excelkent. Best indian food iv had definately ordering again very tasty food Reserva una mesa ahora

Excellent good and service. First time here for a few years as we don’t live in the area but will definitely return. Lovely Saturday evening out.
