My daughter picked this hotel because it was advertised as a family friendly restaurant with a children’s play area. We were impressed with the restaurant/bistro area. Recently renovated with good design, open, light and nice furniture. The play area is smallish but very new and...has a lot packed in for the kids to explore; our two year old had a ball. The menu is modern Italian/Australian with great burgers, steaks, pasta’s wood fired pizzas. The smell of the food fired oven is amazing. I had the bangers mash. this is probably the second review I have ever written in my life and I hate that I have to take the time to write this, but this place (fillipos) is disgusting. I went for a simple steak with a friend and served the worst. meat piece that has ever been seen in my life, it should be a $35 rib eye, medium rare. I thought honestly, it was pork when I was finally able to get a knife in it. the steak was white and gray and would probably repel a foot from the floor if it fell. I dragged back the meals and I was nice when I reported there was a problem with the steak, but I was only hit with aggressive attitude and zero apology. the excuse I received when I asked for a partial refund was that the...
on this place on Sunday for dinner with a group of 7 adults and 3 children. they have a sign on the tables saying, "kids eat free Sundays". they also have bought a flyer on the website that says the same thing with a disclaimer...”1 children's meal per main meal”. wing them at the theke to order the meals, and they said that we have to pay for the children's meals because this Sunday was a busy day and the manager has decided not to honor the "kids eat free" promotion. disappoint. if they perform a promotion, they should either honor it or make the conditions very clear so that they do not mislead people.
let the clean family friend fade them not fool. the restaurant is a big abandon when it comes to service. our friend organized a baptism at the venue. we waited for 3 hours for the main course. it's an embarrassing moment for. the host when you leave in the guest and the main course has not even arrived. to supplement injuries, the restaurant demanded and insisted that our friend to pay for full billing and for eating packed in takeaway container. if they are looking for a venue to host a special event, I would strongly recommend to see where, it is not worth the risk.

My family has lived in Concord, Sydney for well over 30 years yet we'd never set foot in the Bath Arms on the corner of Burwood Road and Parramatta Road. We were walking back from Burwood today in smoky air so we dropped in to...the pub. What a great place, roomy, sports bar, separate bistro (Fillippos) and a fabulous fitout. Staff and a couple of locals were friendly and the bistro menu looked appertising and well priced. I'd say our first visit won't be our last .. after all we can walk there!
Came here for a family Lunch and was blown away at the quality of the Pizza's from the bistro. the kids played in the new playground connected to the bistro and had the time of their lives. the pIzza's straight out of the wood fire...oven were some of the best I have tried and I have eaten pizza all over the world. I took family that were hesitant to eat here, after this experience, this is their new local eatery
I forgot I was next to the noisy, polluted and awful Parramatta Road when I walked into this pub. The exterior facade is of an old pub but the interior is clean and spacious. The bar service was excellent and I really wanted to try...the food but didn 't have time as I only went there while waiting for my parents to finish a medical appointment. I am definitely going back to try The Bird burger.
Booked a table for 16, luckily only 15 actually came as we were so squashed in between two posts, people at the end were almost squeezed behind pillars. Main meals were nice but out of three desserts on the menu they only had one choice...left at 8.30pm . Parking area had a sign gates closed at 10.00pm but actually closed 15 mins earlier ,lucky we could reverse and exit through the entry

Location: The location is quite convenient, situated on the corner of Burwood Road and Parramatta Road with ample parking available and near bus stops. It is also within walking distance from Burwood train station.
A rather decent pub. Not one of the best, but does have some charm about it. Didn't mind it all that much.
