Battuto - Reservar una mesa

So glad I came to this place when I landed in Bucara. It was worth planning our return from San Gil to give us time to eat here again before our flight. The crust on this pizza is so good. I love pizza and since the move to Bogota half a year ago I can say I don't order pizza after I tried a few places. I came here and my wife ordered something and it was amazing. I had her pasta, a bit heavy on the pesto, while back home in Canada usually be the opposite. Overall, this place probably had some of the best food I had so far in Colombia. Removes that the terrace of a busy intersection that can be quite loud and you smell all exhaust gases.

It was a nice get together with old friends. A beautiful environment. Cocktails for the ladies and a nice Italian Rufino Lumina(Pinot Grigio) for the gents. For appetizers we had Polpette Battuto(pork and beef meatballs on tomato sauce with ricotta), and a Burrata Caprese(salad). My entrée was a new pasta dish, Pistacchio Stracciatella Gambero, an in-house made tagliatelle pasta covered with a pistachio-lemon pesto, a light stracciatella cream, and shrimp. Couldn’t really taste the lemon but it was good. We didn’t have time for dessert but will come back for sure. The restaurant has a good variety of dishes to come back a few times.

Amazing food, ambiance and a wonderful service from Alexis. He even hotspotted his mobile internet to help us to get the uber. Strongly recommended for food, drinks and fun.
