Bavarian Bier Cafe

My first visit in years, and it's just as I remember: a good feed with the sort of portions that would dismay your dietician, reflected in premium prices. It's pretty great to see the variety of ways you can serve a schnitzel.But let's talk about drinks. The policy is to serve them by the jug; you can downsize, but you'll pay the same price, so you may as well get the jug. This is madness. People need to be looked after, people. I almost polished off a full jug of lemon lime and bitters, and if I awarded more than three stars here it would be like admitting some of that was my fault.

Late Thursday after shopping and went here for second time. Great selection of unusual dishes and adequate wine and great dark beer (Bier) Wanted a Booth seating and although we didn't book we were seated in a booth even though it had a reserved sign on the table .Found the service quits OK and did not have to wait for attention. was recommended different types of beer. A pleasant evening was enjoyed

Occasionally they have live music or special performance at the outdoor seating but it's very noisy, or go for indoor seating if you want some quiet ambience. Tried the German sausage platters & crispy pork Knuckle, delicious!

Good Location with some decent food. However, most of the main meals do come as a small serving. The price is slightly expensive, although it would be a good choice to have with a group of friends.

Excellent food and beer. Nice ambience. Very informative hosts. Large size portion is very big. Ideal party venue for corporate entertainment events. The outside tent would be ideal.

Great place to go with your mates where u can be loud, have fun, drink lots beers and its not on the menu but they do serve scotch.... Had a great time... perfect for groups....
