I called ahead to make sure bringing three kids at 5pm would be ok, and the person on the phone was very gracious. At dinner, the service taught my children about hospitality. They calmly treated my children, the only patrons under 20, as if they were honored and dignified guests. The food remains delightful. The charcuterie board ranges without chaos. What they can do with a sandwich! My son's hot chicken sandwich upstaged everyone, and my daughter's bulgogi-style steak was perfectly spiced and tender. UPDATE- Back to Bavette I went with this charming lad I adore and once again the entire experience was top notch! Miss Karen and Team Bavette, have produced some amazing dishes who's flavor combinations are unique and ever so tasty. There service is always top notch, the cocktails and food are creative and delicous and again, selfishly I love that this gem is a easy 5-7 minute walk from my home I went to Bavette for the first time last night and what a wonderful experience. Our server, Lily, was attentive and sweet. Our food was delicious as were our cocktails. I can't wait to go back and am so thankful this gem is just down my street a few blocks and a true asset to the downtown dining scen...

Reuben tongue sandwich. I'm into it. It needs more sour krout and Russian dressing. 7.8/10 Korean steak au jus. Park my cab and call me a scoundrel, this sandwich is the bees knees. If I had a bucket list of 10 things to eat in Milwaukee, this sandwich would make the list. 9.6/10 Spanish gin and tonic. 5.0/10 they took a perfectly good drink and put a creative twist on it to make it mediocre. I've been here three times in the last year (I live 5 hours away) and recommend it to anyone visiting Milwaukee. The Beef Carpaccio is divine. Drinks are great. Entrees are well worth it. The house made baked goods (focaccia, corn bread, cheesecake brownie, etc) are outstanding. Just come and enjoy! You won't regret it! Reserva una mesa ahora

Enjoyed everything about this restaurant. Friendly and helpful service with really good food. We ordered the deviled eggs and carpaccio for starters and both were great. The Reuben and roast beef sandwiches came with fries and were also very delicious and filling. Will come back anytime I’m in town.

Wow. Amazing quality of food, service, and ambiance. Best meal I've had in a long time. We tried the octopus, homemade bread, Korean beef dip sandwich, beef fat fries, and Romaine salad. Will definitely be back for all the other menu items!

I can't find a single thing to fault at Bavette. The food is incredible and locally sourced. The service is incredible. I think the interior is inviting. Do yourself a favor and stop in.
