Annoying to see your chips and part of your meal sat out waiting whilst other orders large delivery order distracted. Seemed forever, appeared part of order was made up some placed in heater i assume and then 10min or longer before meal pieced together. So aside from the actual wait, the food, rice, chips are at best warm upon leaving. However couple of other things were hot eg spring rolls good size, cripsy and sauces etc Perhaps bad timing, one of those things, and in the past no real issues. It 's our local, its ok at best, nothing special which is a shame, would love a place with nice fluffy rice and big bits of egg etc but then each to their own i guess and to be honest, im more a fish...
I was disappointed to discover that this Chinese restaurant had new owners after being a satisfied customer for many years. I had a really poor meal last weekend, especially the katsu curry which had a tasteless black sauce. The entire meal was similar to something you would grab quickly in a garage for the 3 for £10 deal, but our bill came close to £40. As a consolation for the late delivery, we received a free tin of Fanta and Coke. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this restaurant, which is a shame considering how it used to be.
Ordered from this place twice, many many people swear by it. First time I was given raw chicken, when I phoned to complain, yes they apologised but said they wouldn’t charge me for a starter on my next visit.not a gushing apology. Decided I’d never go back until I was railroaded on a family Chinese night to order again from there. Thought I’d keep it simple, chicken fried rice. Again raw chicken. Didn’t eat , didn’t complain I’ll never be back.
I've been going here for quite a while now a few years maybe. Lately the simple task of making chip that look like they have only been cooked once or twice tops. Never had such awful chips in my life. Though every time I switch Chinese it's down to rubbish chips. You would think that would be the easy part to master. Disappointed to be honest as when we switched to here it was amazing

We’ve had food from Ba Won a number of times and it’s fine but the staff are very unfriendly and unaccomodating. They only take cash (it’s 2022, not 1972! and although delivery is meant to be within a 3 mile area they don’t actually deliver to 3 miles and refused to deliver to my address 2.9 miles away. No apology just a sharp and rude NO. They obviously don’t need the money
What has happened to Bawon?….since the new staff crew are working there it has gone to the dogs. Second inedible first time I put down to bad luck, but second time is a pattern. Makes eating there a healthy option as you have the pleasure of ordering and waiting, but saved from the calories as you can’t eat it!
Ordered banquet for 2, delivery. Only 1 spring roll, only 1 chicken skewer. Rang to complain, was told it was enough, except, it’s on their menu as TWO (2) of each. Was told get a FREE curry next time. THERE WONT BE A NEXT TIME ! Good not as good customer service WOEFUL.
I ordered takeout last night and my king prawn curry with fried rice was the worst I've had. The curry sauce was watery and lacked flavor, and the onions tasted more like they had been boiled rather than cooked in a wok. I was very disappointed with my meal.

We've used this Chinese regularly. So we can honestly review it. We had wonderful food every time. Good portions and always piping hot. The young men who work on the desk are extremely courteous. Keep up the good work. Ty.
