The beautiful sunny autumn morning had me leaving the coffee machine off at home and reaching for sneakers and my bag. A perfectly good excuse to go for a walk and enjoy a coffee in a cafe setting. We had been past The Bay Road Pantry a few months ago for a on the fly takeaway coffee and decided to return. About a 5 minute drive from the Claremont Quarter shopping centre the cafe is located in the residential area of Claremont. Happy wally. Often pop into this local for a coffee, or breaky. Nice atmosphere in that neighbourhoody cafe kinda way. Staff are always friendly, and remember your regular coffee order which is nice. Great muffins, and good quality and reasonably priced breakfast options.Coffee is consistent, strong and the right temperature, which some places dont seem to get right.The lunch items displayed in the cabinet all look interesting and fresh.Lovely sitting out front too, with the local dog walkers and regulars.Thumbs up from me !
Had a tart and a breakfast special. Fantastic! The coffee was great too.The tart was fresh from the oven and had chilli and goats cheese, we had it with a side serve of spicy chickpea salad from the cabinet and it was also served with an eggplant relish that was amazing. The brekkie was very well priced and the flavours were perfectly balanced. Friendly counter service and we left with change in our pockets and a smile on our face.
Quaint little cafe, with an atmosphere of comfort. Warm freindly staff, good coffee, home cooked treats to fill your stomach and very reasonably priced. Home made soup with cheesy croutons $10. Take away salad $5. So if you are looking for a cosy place to catch up with friends and to delight in a nice brekky, treat or lunch i highly Reccomend to any : compliments to the owner/manager

Love this place. Great coffee. And good old fashioned food ,for those who have nothing better to do than complain I suggest you stay home . Am really tired of people saying how expensive things are in Perth ,yes it is but we also pay the highest wages to service staff in the world .<br/ <br/ Stop complaining people and just enjoy it .
Just moved to Perth, living local, stumbled across this Little treasure of a cafe. Love the atmosphere, perfect position on a quiet street, tried the chicken foccacia was great. Bit pricey, but good. Yet to try the coffee or the treats in the window but they look good. Overall reasonably happy, however little pricey.
Hidden gem! Tucked away in the suburbs this little cafe is a lovely hideaway from the hustle and bustle. Owner is sweet and always willing to get to know you and make you feel welcomed. My fave is the bay road bruschetta coffee is also a hit every time. Support the small locals and give it a try! Dogs welcomed too
Just had a lovely breakfast here with my sister. Very prompt service, tasty food, great tea coffee was apparently very good. Just need to ask them not to butter the ciabatta. Really very pleased!

Nice atmosphere. Little 'local ' cafe tucked away in Claremont with a really pleasant atmosphere. Coffee was nothing special, but the food was fantastic. Pricey for what it is.
