The drinks can be a bit hit or miss here. But the vibes are immaculate as per usual. If you've been to the Patchogue location, Bay Shore's iteration is familiar. Inside is woodsy with open windows letting the light stream in. I went on a Saturday morning and the line was out the door. But as per usual it gave me time to peruse the many flavored latte options they have available. I ended up choosing a seasonal latte consisting of dark chocolate and banana (which is the same as their standard chunky monkey latte but go figure) and was impressed by how b-a-n-a-n-a-s it was. I was happy to support a local business as a resident of Bay Shore, but I wanted to share my experience this morning. I bought 4 bags of coffee beans today and was asked if I needed them ground, which I did not. However, the staff's response was somewhat unprofessional, as they seemed relieved when I said I didn't need them ground. If I had needed them ground, I wonder how they would have reacted and how uncomfortable it might have been as a paying customer. It is important for all employees to be trained in creating a fantastic experience for clients and customers. Additionally, I was told that they would offer me a bag, but they were out of stock. Today, I visited a restaurant where the waitress seemed unhappy to be working. When I tried to pay my bill with a $50 bill, she told me they don't accept large bills. I was surprised that they wouldn't accommodate me, as the customer. I was forced to pay with my debit or credit card instead. Isn't the customer always right? It's strange that they don't understand that concept, especially in New York. The coffee was good, but the customer service was lacking. I felt the need to share my experience so they can learn how to treat their customers better.

Central Perk is alive and well. Except now its called Bay Shore Bean coffee house. They have 2 couches in back which reminded me of the show. Great food and love the staff. They are friendly and professional. If you are are looking for something different, this is the place to go. I have already decided to try the Toffee Almond Latte next time. They have Lavender Tea. Slices of carrot cake, almond cake and you will have to go and out the rest. You won't be disappointed. Sneak peek below
Baristas are super friendly. Can feel fast paced and overwhelming when trying to decide what you want to try. If it's your first time there just step to the side and look at their specials. Wonderful place to chat and catch up with a friend. So many choices for yummy snacks. We sat on a super cool half sofa with laptops and phones and shared pics of kids and grandkids. It was long overdue and this place was warm and cozy
I have been going to this place for years and I absolutely adore the coffee and drinks. The customer service is always friendly and the atmosphere is delightful. I love the vibes of the shop!

I love the coffee here so I will always continue to come back, but I really just wish the staff was a little happier. A smile goes a long way with a cup of coffee :
Everyone loves coffee. Easy to stop in and have a hot cup. Luke warm and bitter, not the best. But loved the seating and free WiFi.
