What a terrible experience The staff were dreadful ⦁ Upon arrival the receptionist was very abrupt while telling us that we have to sign in (I respect their policy, however, I do not appreciate the other members of my party being glared at and talked down to). ⦁ When we were being served, the waitress/server did not give us any eye contact. ⦁ All but one of our members were already eating our meals believing that the meal of the other member of our party was going to arrive moments later, however, it took 45 MINUTES for the meal to arrive. We had went to get a refund for this specific meal. They tried to argue that they were not able to give us a refund because, we've already began the meal....

Staff treat visitors like dirt. We were scowled at and spoken down to when we questioned the need to sign in. Not something we have done visiting a restaurant before. If she had been polite and explained it was policy that would be fine. However the club manager I believe, had an attitude that made you feel like nothing.Then a whole new drama in the restaurant. They had forgotten a meal dispite reminding them numerous times.By the time they put the food ,almost an hour after ordering on the table the rest had already eaten.We expressed our annoyance at the time. if I could rate 0, I would. I'm lost for a word. we came for Australian days as it was advertised that there would be a concert. so obviously they knew it would be done and they would think that management would suggest for the additional volume of customers. when we arrived, we agreed on the order for half an hour. they have not taken more than 15 orders throughout this time. extremely slow. that could be forgiven if we could actually end the order. when we came to the front surprise! no complete menu, only snacks! what by the way, they have a choice of 5 dingen, one is a bowl chips. absolutely! no communication, no indication of not telling food after 2.30, no reflection on people who make... The food was decent, but the service was incredibly disappointing. We were part of a group, and while everyone else received their meals, my partner was left waiting for their calamari. By the time everyone had finished eating, my partner was still without their dish. We asked the staff three times for an update, but they only responded that they would check on it and never did. When I approached the manager, they informed me that the calamari was ready but had been taken by someone else. What does that even mean?! The manager didn’t even bother to apologize. It’s baffling how a restaurant can maintain a 3.1-star rating with such service issues. Clearly, they have some work to do.
I was frustrated after trying to book a dinner reservation over the phone, which required a $10 deposit. I booked a table for 7:30 PM, but when I arrived, I discovered that my reservation was incorrect and scheduled for 6:30 PM instead. To make matters worse, I was charged a $20 deposit instead. They adjusted the time, and I was told I could use the extra $20 for drinks. However, by 7:15 PM, we still hadn’t received any service for drinks or food, and by 7:49 PM, we decided to leave without having eaten or having a single drink, even after asking three different waiters for assistance. This experience was disappointing.
It was a lovely dinner. We visited here last night. There was a live band when we arrived, and I was surprised at how lovely the bistro is. It had very comfortable seats, there was a baby changing room, clean toilets, a nice play area for the kids (they also had a bouncy castle there), friendly staff and a lovely bar. Our food was to our satisfaction.The air con was a bit too high and we got really cold so we left early than we expected.
