After coming to this location, I am a fan of Korean fried chicken! As someone not too familiar with Asian flavors, I was hesitant to try this place, but my boyfriend mentioned that this place had good reviews, so I decided to give it a shot. Great choice. The location was clean, their outdoor seating area was spacious and unique. The cashier was kind and patient while we looked through the menu. She brought our food out and it was extremely hot and fresh. No complaints on the atmosphere whatsoever. I will mention that the prices are a little steeper than a conventional fried chicken spot. Solid place for Korean fried chicken! The chicken is so crunchy and crisp. Sauces are good, but some are better than others. The soy garlic is my favorite. I like to try the special, limited time only sauces (e.g. Jamaican jerk sauce, maple sauce), but if this is your first time, I recommend the soy garlic or the original. The kimchi fried rice is also a hit.Order ahead online to save yourself time. Pick up is usually 15-20min later depending on how busy they are. Parking is plentiful and free, but there are a lot of other stores here so you might have to park a little further away during peak times.
The women who helped me was very kind and my food was amazing. So far the honey garlic boneless is my favorite and it’s insanely crispy. Also recommend the hibiscus sweet tea it’s very refreshing too. When I first went I thought it was on the pricy side (I get 8 pcs for 15.99 but I think it’s worth it for the quality and insane flavor. I also love watching the K-pop videos on their tv while I wait for my food. Honestly the best fried chicken in Northridge in my opinion. I’m going back today so I can update my review with pictures :
The Honey Garlic Wings is my fav. I never get tired of eating it again and again. I always get a few bonus/extra chicken pieces with my order. The spicy chicken is a little too spicy sometimes not for kids. The kimchi rice is hit or miss, sometimes super good, sometimes so so. But overall their chicken are pretty good... Got 16 wings of the classic. Not a fan that they won't let you split flavors as I wanted to try the secret sauce flavor too. Service was fine. Also got sweet potato fries and fried green beans. A bit expensive but a fun unique type of food. Lots of seating and very clean restaurant.
