I was so excited about this place, and although it was nice to get away from the cold winds, this place set a downer on the day. first, the “nail” of the vegan options that I have read elsewhere is not true. I would hardly come two salads “much” plus salate!? they had dessert only a vegan and I am not joking when I say it came as a slitter not bigger than my thumb (a complete sweat when it cost the same as the apple cakes of my man who was massiv.) the place was also ice cold and the staff completely uninterested.

Disappointed with the menu, no gammon and no Eton mess! The starter, prawn cocktail, was tasteless. The main, Pan roasted lamb was good but only broccoli and potatoes as veg. Expensive for what you got. Didn't bother with dessert as no Eton mess!

A great place to stop for food and drink after walking from Birling Gap. A good selection of veggie options, served by Jan, with not too long to wait. Hope to be back soon.

Great views, great service, great steak sandwich, great cider. Must stop here if in the area.
