Beacon Tavern - Reservar una mesa

Table for seven? No problem. We didn't even know Beacon Tavern was there and wouldn't have if it weren't for the River Walk. It was early, to be fair around 5:30 on a Sunday. But seven of us got right in. They have beautiful views of the river and thesurrounding areas. We had a great table a corner booth with plenty of room for all of us. They have a great menu and were veryaccommodating. A few of us had Fish and Chips, some had the Filet Medallions, and others had hamburgers. Everything wasoutstanding. Compliments to the chef. And, we'll be back.

Went there for a business lunch. Atmosphere was good for that setting but just have to vote 3 star for lack of diversity in the menu. Both myself and colleague had a difficult time deciding and felt there should've been more types of options in the saladand entree area.. I did end with the chicken, pesto and zucchini noodles which was very good.. It is a fine place, but I woulddouble check the menu before fully commiting..

Nice Setting. Sat inside at a high top next to a open window. Drinks were cold food was hot. Service was good by the bartender until the last 15min then he never came back except to drop off the bill. I would have ordered another round of drinks but the server/bartender never came back but there's plenty other establishments nearby to get one.

Fishermans stew was disapointing, was expecting a soup/broth and it was only a salad with mushrooms and little if any broth. Redfish sandwich was small. Squash soup was watery and had no spice or seasoning. Waiter great and friendly. Managment here always great. Think it was an off night for the chef!

Beacon Tavern never disappoints! This is the first restaurant we went to since March and it was wonderful. I had the fish stew and it was outstanding! We were a bit reluctant eating indoors but when we saw how seriously the staff followed the Covid 19 guidelines we all relaxed.

I felt very comfortable dining in given the pandemic precautions that the restaurant has instituted. The food was slightly above average and the service was excellent. A bit over priced but understandable given their location in the shadow of Trump Hotel and One Mag Mile.

Great spot and the staff is super respectful and professional given the environment. The drinks were excellent the Rum Punch and the Old Fashioned were outstanding. Highly recommend this place.

I liked it pleasant surprise. I arrived on the last day of the Oktoberfest menu, and sampled the final drop of beer ... excellent.

Consistently great. Frequently updating menus and the cocktail menu keeps this place an all time favorite of mine in Chicago
