Beamies at the River

we have decided to choose Beamie’s on the river as our Mother’s Day evening destination. let's just say they're not disappointed! from the excellent customer service with bryce our waiter to the amazing ease of the manager to replace the meal of my mother. they ensured that our experience was invaluable. I ordered the cancer as an appetizer, and then garnish the comb basket grilled and utter. we also had the catfish, scallops, gumbo and fried garnelen as well as with a side of fries and gries.

Really great spot for lunch. They have indoor and outdoor seating that is covered. They have wine, liquor and beer, but no beer on draft. We had the fried catfish and oysters, which was delicious and a good portion. We also had blacked shrimp and scallops which were very good. The kids had chicken fingers, which were typical chicken fingers. The other had a kids cheese burger witch was also really good. The service was fast and friendly. I would eat here again

The service wasn't good. Don't order your food grilled because you get a very small portion of seafood. I ordered the combo platter of shrimp and oysters. I barely got 5 oysters and 6 or 7 shrimp. The children's catfish basket was bigger than my meal. They also charge gratuity for 5 people or more.

Fast, good food. Though understaffed, you never got the impression that something was taking too long. There's not much to say about the food besides...it's good! Great atmosphere and Sunday lunch location.

The seafood was fresh but the portion need to be enough to fill you up. They are short staffed so please be patient with the waiters. They have a nice outdoor seating area.
