Beatrix - Reservar una mesa

Beatrix actually is two establishments located across the Rue de Paul Ribeyre from each other. Visit the riverside cafe in the morning for crepes, and then venture to the opposite side for ice cream or beer in the afternoon. Both sites are shaded by mature sycamore trees, providing a welcome, cool shelter from the summer sun. A bit pricey, but the ambiance is worth at least one visit.

Nobody should pass Vals les Bains without stopping to Beatrix to enjoy one of their enormous and delicious ice cream. Very nice terrace and the inside of the building is nice too. Make sure to be very hungry before selecting one of their 'Géant ' ice cream, like a coupe Cévénole ! One negative thing.... staff doesn 't smile much and are a bit cold.

Very popular ice cream parlour with large terrace, amazing flavours made on the premises with interesting combinations. Good people watching. 8 euros for a great sundae.

Spectacular ice cream concoctions from a 3 page menu. Just the thing for a hot summers day outside under the shade of the trees. Heaven on Earth!

Ice creams are excellent, so is the whipped cream. This is an institution, not to be missed if you're visiting the town
