On the drive from Spain to the UK we like to have a night on the Massif Central: it breaks the journey nicely. We had stayed at the Hotel Beau Site in 2004 but it was not a positive experience and had been avoiding it since. This year the hotel with which we had booked could not honour our booking and transferred us to the Beau Site: fait accompli!
