Bechard happens to make theirs in-house which isn't always the case when you go to other purveyors for this particuar item. There are many packaing options to choose from (including beautiful tins that travel well in your suitcase), as well as a variety of quanties that you can purchase. They hand-pack the orders. So you can customize as you please. Bechard offers the traditional Callison, but also offers a chocolate dipped version. I was excited to try French pastry and Bechard's hit the mark! You're surrounded by delicious treats the moment you walk in the door. I particularly enjoyed the croissant and cream puff but honestly you can't go wrong. Highly recommended if you're in the area! The staff was friendly and helpful.
This bakery has been in the same family for generations and the family for generations. The family own a lot of property in Aix. The array of freshly made pastries and confectioneries is a splendid sight and worth a visit
And I have tasted a few...the red a gold box is a give away to the connoisseurs of Bechard patisserie. Their lemon meringue pie is second to none. Their shop is a visual delight. What more can I say?

I'd heard Bechard's was the best and after several bags of their profiteroles, croissants and cream puffs, can absolutely attest to same. Even the displays are breathtaking!
So I checked this place out after walking by and I saw it packed with peopleWhen I went inside I saw that it was a mix of tourists and residents.
Classic and beautiful and undeniably delicious! We tried many different items multiple visits during our week in Aix and none disappointed.
