After a long day of hiking and exploring Crater Lake I was hungry and looking for something other than prepackaged food from the gift shop. I saw a sign for Beckie's and decided to try it. I'm so glad I did. The grilled chicken was juicy and flavorful. The veggies were crisp and fresh. I'm surprised to read comments about the limit menu. During my Oregon road trip many places have a couple starters and a handful of sandwiches. Beckie's has a few starters (mostly fried), a couple salads, and a mixture of burgers and sandwiches (plus a kid's menu). Dessert is available including ice cream. If my travels take me near Beckie's again I'll be a repeat customer!
The server was nice which was about the best part of our stop there and why I'm giving 2 stars. The food is over priced and not the same price as on the menu so heads up. $12 just for some pre-frozen onion rings when I know a better establishment right in shady cove with hand dipped onion rings for only $4. The burger I got didn't come with any sauces on it, very dry, and not very tasteful but it did come with fries which was $15 for it. My mans burger was $16 with about the same disappointment for that one too. The giant cinnamon roll we got to go was completely solid as a rock on the outside the only edible part was the middle.
Beckie's half-sweet and slightly spiced huckleberry pie introduced me to a new flavor profile that has set a high standard for future pies I try. I asked her to go easy on the ice cream since I'm lactose intolerant; unfortunately, it seemed like they might have misunderstood, giving me more than I needed. The coffee was pretty good. I feel that Beckie may have built her reputation a bit too much around her cakes. While they're making improvements to the overall atmosphere of the cabin, there seems to be a lack of motivation to speed up service, as they're often busy seating people for tables.
My mother and I were having dinner in Clovis, NM, and it brought back memories of our summer trips to Oregon when I was a kid. She was surprised to learn that I remembered Becky’s Cafe. I told her it was hard to forget because they served the best huckleberry pie I've ever had in my life. It was so delicious that the sweet memory has stuck with me for 35 years. We enjoyed our meal together, laughing and reminiscing, and I realized how easy it was for people to still rave about that cake.

Stopped here for food after visiting Crater Lake since it was recommended by our AirBnb host. The BLT was very good. The dining area is closed so you either have to eat outside on picnic benches or take it to go. Luckily this place is surrounded by gorgeous scenery. After reading reviews looks like we missed out on some good pie.
The story of Beckie is a little strange. You think there's a woman named Beckie, right? There was a man named Beckie. In 1938, Ed Becklehymer, known as “Beckie”, opened the restaurant. After he died, his wife ran Cecil. She was also known as Beckie and ran the place well in the 60s.
Shoutout on our server that was new! The burgers, sandwiches and hot wings were delicious. Can go wrong with unlimited refills for drinks. But the bathrooms were immaculate and an oasis after being in the national park all day!
Simply the best pies. Incredibly made not too sweet. Taste outstanding plus good and friendly service. Unfortunately after 100 years the resturant and the surroundings were sold to a large corporation.

I had a wonderful dinner at Beckies tonight. I highly recommend the Rogue Chicken Fried Steak. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely.
