After many years away from Melbourne my wife and I caught up at Bedi's Indian Restaurant with some friends and colleagues I used to work with in the late We had used this restaurant regularly during my time in Melbourne and pleased to say...the quality of the food is still extremely good. They provide a wide range of different types of Indian cuisine with good quantities of food supplied and the service is excellent. Mr Bedi has been running this business for over years and he still maintains a very high standard of quality. Thoroughly recommend a visit

We recently achieved an anniversary years of enjoying Bedi's! Our family has enjoyed the hospitality of Bedi and Rita since moving into the South Melbourne area years ago. Takeaway on a Friday night ... or a visit to their quaint, unpretentious restaurant...... is one of our family traditions. And what better way to celebrate than our usual order ... Chicken Butter Cream, Vegetable Malai Kofta, Prawn Malai, saffron rice and naans (garlic and kashmiri). Thanks Bedi and Rita! You are a South Melbourne institution that should both be preserved forever

I asked the waiter for a recommendation, and after finding out what meat I wanted to eat, and how spicy, he suggested a beef vindaloo, which I had with a garlic naan, and saffron rice. It was hot, sour, spicy, and the meat was cooked...to perfection. I enjoyed the mains so much I went for dessert and was delighted to see gulag jubal was available. Again, these dumplings were excellent, just like I've eaten in India. Overall, I thought this was excellent, and I will definitely be coming back

Been eating Indian food all over Australia and overseas and hands down this is the best and most consistent restaurant we have experienced! I have also been ordering lunches every Friday for my team in Sth Melbourne and everyone’s meal is perfect every time! Ordered delivery via Menulog, found a massive black hair in my curry. Rang the restaurant who didn't believe and made me drive down so I could show them> no apology given, ask for refund but the staff said he wouldn't. My entire meal was cold...by the time I got to eat, Never again will I go back there. Very overpriced also

I have been eating at Bedi’s over years. Whilst I think it’s under new management now the food is still fabulous. The lentil soup has the right amount of heat. The papadums are perfectly oil free. The Naan is divine. Bedi’s remains a fabulous...casual eatery in Melbourne

I always thought this place was an institution and took some Indian visitors from India, they politely said this is not like India. If may have been an off day because sauces were very average and oily. I should have stuck to my tried and...true Roti Boti

Staying in Southbank and looking for Indian, this is a very short drive away. Not crowded on a week night and good value for money. They had a couple of unique dishes and the service was very quick despite lots of takeaway orders flying out...the door Reserva una mesa ahora

Bedi's failed to deliver part of our order and then asked us to go to pick it up. When we were unable to do this they falsely told us that it would need to be refunded via a third party (zwift). Very poor service. No...attempt to make it right

Refused to deliver my order because I ordered the entree platter. I was really looking forward to that entree platter. If you have a minimum spend policy, you should be clear about it. Won’t be ordering from here again
