This place is excellent, by far the best take out in town, not just chinese takeout, and fairly consistent unless they are outrageously busy for some reason. Their soups are flavorful and well made. The Orange Chicken and General Tso's and Sesame chicken has been properly fried twice so it's extra cripsy but not dried out. They clearly make some sauces from scratch and use the proper velveting technique on their meats before they stir fry them (something a lot of chinese restaurants skip) so that they are melt in your mouth tender. Everything we ate here tasted like it was ketchup based. Hot and spicy chicken, general tso’s chicken- it was all a ketchup sauce. The non-fried chicken also had a very spongey texture. We didn’t get sick, but we did all have rumbly tummies for the next several hours. Service was very friendly. If you dine in, you have to buy water bottles, as they don’t serve water by the glass. Actual food prices are very reasonable. Lots of bugs in the restroom. All in all, terrible food, not the cleanest facility, but very friendly staff.
