Lunch time and I'm Downriver again, Southgate today. I'm still finding new cities. This area is huge, I love it! The gentleman at the counter was extremely pleasant, patient and very helpful to the lady in front of me who was placing a to-go order. Ordering from a big, well-laid out menu, I went with the Shish Kabob from the Lunch Specials $12 on the back today. Lentil soup my new favorite rice as sides. The fresh, hot pita garlic spread could be a meal unto itself. Then the soup arrives. Hot, nicely seasoned with two lemon wedges. A nice twist sorry for the pun and it adds a good flavor to it. My wife stopped by this place and gave me a call asking if I wanted anything knowing that I love Mediterranean foods. Had never heard of this place before so I pulled up the menu online. Asked my wife to get me two shish kabob sandwiches. By the time she got back home the food was cold; she was out and about. NOTE: I’m real picky on foods that are warmed back up in a microwave but popped one of the sandwiches in for 20 seconds. One of the BEST kabob sandwiches I’ve had in a while even nuked! We’ll have to try them again for dine-in. I suspect their food is absolutely awesome straight from the kitchen. RECOMMEND!!!
We visited Beirut Garden on a short day-trip to Michigan. Everything from the food to the dining experience was absolutely wonderful! All of the food we ordered had amazing flavor and Ahmad provided excellent hospitality with the Turkish coffee. If you haven't visited Beirut Garden you are missing out!

Water was leaking from the ceiling directly in the path they walk the food out. The cashier saw me waiting in line but answered the phone and took an entire order before asking if I needed help. Not happy with my experience here.
The service was attentive and friendly, making the entire dining experience delightful. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a Mediterranean restaurant downriver!
