we married in the belair house in august 2021 and had such a wonderful day! it is such a beautiful and unique place and perfect for an intimate high time when it is the first stage as we rent. the view of the Belair Park is beautiful and the ballroom/ceremony room is so bright during the day (also on a cloudy day!) we loved for our ceremony. we were so impressed by the service we received from beginning to end. paige, tasha and john were so friendly and helpful and made me feel so calm and supported in the guided tour to the high time and the day itself. the day ran so smooth (and on time! and that was up to her hard work and professionalism. the high-time breakfast tables looked exactly how I had imagined (then you were so much paige! and I was just above the moon how everything went, how liam was: we loved eating, as many of our guests said how delicious it was, and we can't wait to visit many years! it is a day that we will appreciate forever, so thank you team belair for everything they have done! love rosie liam x (photo jessy papasavva
on sunny mai Saturday after the Dulwich Festival there were some cocktails in the late afternoon/early evening. beautiful environment, grandios indoors. we sat outside in the back sitting area with views of the park. perfect for a cocktail. there are also outdoor seats and parking spaces on the front. the robe cobbler was the winning cocktail around, sky, harbour, lemon and vanilla over crushed ice and dressed with five fruits, berries, apples, blueberries and pineapple! a bit like an extra good sangria. the glass is carved crystal and big makes for a very refreshing drink on a hot day. tested the hemingway dacquiri too good, quite strong, not so beautiful. some very unique looking cocktails also like the pink tinted glass that comes with a cognac foam. in any case worth a visit on summer day.
we hired the upper floor for the afternoon to celebrate a lunch for our extended family and our civil partnership. the food was excellent and we were very pleased to see how the place ensured various nutritional requirements without problems. great options for sweet and vegan. and gluten- and milk-free? no problem! thanks to tasha, paige, john and her team to make our event so successful. and only a note on the room: we mainly used the ballroom for the meal and post-Meal chat, but the bar area offered an additional place to the mingle and we used the green room as a child-friendly zone (including a wrap mat otherwise the baby change was two days after the bottom of the real baby room was present.
we had an amazing day in belair house for our high time in september. the team of bh is very satisfied with emails and request. the construction of our high time was unconventional in a pandemic, but we felt assured that they were too handy to guide us through the planning process. the day itself tasha, paige john were simply amazing, she went honestly beyond and beyond. the day went very smooth and all the guests were happy all day. many thanks again! can wait to visit again soon.
