We attended the F1 GP at Hockenheim this year, since there was a few of us coming together for Dinner we wanted to book a restaurant with good food. I had a look on TripAdvisor and decided to try Bella Capri and went down to...book, although the staff were just arriving for work they were happy to make a reservations for us for that evening. We all had pizza which was very good. We subsequently ate at Bella Capri every other night, they were happy to reserve tables for us and the quality of food never lapsed. It is two years since I was last at this Italian restaurant. I eat an evening meal here on two occasions with a group of friends. On the first night I thought that the pizza was rather stogy but the carpaccio of beef with shaved...parmesan cheese was most excellent. On the second night I started with Parma ham and melon followed by a sea food spaghetti. The food was very good on this second occasion. Get used to the fact that the portions are enormous. The best thing about this place is the price. It really is very reasonable. I would be more than happy to eat there again. The owners are very friendly and even if you speak little or no German or Italian you still can get by!

a group of about 8 of us went for an evening meal (before booking essential) at what, honestly, I think is the best thing that has to offer home. the parts are gigantic, so warned. eating is a good honest Italian cuisine. The service can be painfully slow, but everyone, even if he crawls, remains friendly and helpful. the pizzas are very good, as the pasta. the prices are extremely reasonable.
I went last week to bella capri while I stayed in hockenheim and I was impressed by the food, service and size of the portions. be hungry if you are there, not to mention quality wine in the offer. I can recommend...the bella capri and will be in hockenheim next time.
ate as a group during a busy weekend. many choice for eating and drinking, all decent price. good eating, efficiently served despite the house packed.
We had a small family party at the Bella Capri. The food was excellent and the service was very friendly. An all-around pleasant experience.

omg the grilled octo is the best in the world. the shrimp scampi is fabulous. the owners are from capri!!
