Bella's Italian

Our favorite restaurant for our special occasion dinners folded last year, and when our anniversary came around, we were looking for a new place. Read the rave reviews about Bella’s and decided to give it a try. Sadly, we weren’t overly impressed. Factoring in the music overhead and the accents we heard, this seemed more like a Mexican version of an Italian restaurant. Don’t get me wrong – I understand that Italian cuisine is loved and prepared all over the world by people from all different cultures – just saying this interpretation wasn’t a personal favorite. Plus it didn’t seem like a great value for what it was. We drank water with our meal and still spent about $70 with the tip. My chicken and shrimp piccata was swampy – way too much liquid, and for the extra $2 it cost over the price of the chicken piccata, I got three shrimp. My wife said she enjoyed her chicken Marsala. The salads included with our meals consisted of iceberg lettuce, one tomato slice, and about a teaspoon of sliced olives. Cannolis for dessert were $8 each. Not saying we wouldn’t go back, just that I’m not done looking for a new place.

We made the 40-minute drive, which turned into be an hour plus because of the bad weather, to meet an aunt and uncle who were in town. We sat down and the power went out immediately but thankfully was only out for a minute or we could have not enjoyed the wonderful food, the outstanding service and are much needed visit with our aunt and uncle. Thank you so much.

I can't say enough about the Great service we received, and how wonderful the food is!! Excellent place to go if you want Real Italian!I had The special, shrimp ravioli, it was fantastic, and they were nothing but very kind to serve us fairly late in the evening! Clean, very classy staff, i will definitely go here again!!

Came in 30 minutes before closing and they welcomed us. Ordered and received our for quickly. Staff was very friendly and didn't feel rushed one bit. Food was great and price was reasonable. Highly recommend this place.

Very friendly, polite staff. Excellent food. Tiramisu was great!!
