We arrived on a very busy evening to a full house, greeted by the owner (wife) and daughter Elena who escorted us to our table. I was presented with the wine list, and saw some real Italian bargains...like a 2007 Barolo 1.5 liters for 176 CHF. The list was so extensive i asked if they had a wine cellar... I was a bit skeptical when friends recommended me taking a long taxi ride to Maloja just for some sausages. Well, since I am a carnivore I was intrigued.. What I got was the ultimate carnivores delight! The amuse bouche was a home made dried deer to perfection. The flavor had the smoky hint I was looking for and the texture and bite was imply excellent. We then went for the Carpaccio, since I am a big fan of raw meat.
