Gassin has been classified as one of the "most beautiful villages" in France. This town is so charming and your meal at Bello Visto will make your visit memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, my husband his veal and I the cod. You will need a reservation for dinner as they are quite a popular spot. The view from their terrace is stunning and overlooks the valley all the way to the sea. Madame is very chic and runs a very efficient restaurant (with her husband in the kitchen). It is all hands on deck at this busy eatery. She spoke English and was helpful in interpreting the specials (standard menu has English). My husband and I are here on our honeymoon. We were looking for a reasonable french meal in a classic walled village. Our hotel (Château Valmer) recommended this spot. We got same day reservations for 8:45pm. We parked nearby for free and walked into the row of restaurants. Bello Visto was one of the first along the row of restaurants. When we got there it was busy which was a great sign. We were sat in a table with a view overlooking St Tropez and Ste Maxime. Great service and excellent value. Gassin is a very short drive from St. Tropez (10-15 min). Very charming village with stunning views of St. Tropez Gulf. This is a romantic spot (better to book a table around sunset - reservation is a must!!!). Pros and cons of the food: gastronomic experience with a reasonable price, away from the crowds, noise of touristic St. Tropez, surprising combination of flavors, unexpected sometimes, really really yummy ... cons: I could seriously eat the three course menu meal at least 2 times more, typical French portions ... I'm not used to it!!! Totally recommended, by far the best restaurant we did during our stay.

We are regulars to Saint Tropez and this one is a hidden gem. The patron food is superb and light, each dish is a delight. The patronne runs the place efficiently and well and the young sommelier is top notch. The rest of the staff is equally professional. Visited for Breakfast and found a really lovely restaurant with friendly staff whose English was better than my French. An enjoyable breakfast with good fresh bread and pastries. All in a beautiful setting.

We eat very well, the Mediterranean flavors are at the rendezvous and the service is very pleasant. However, a taste of too little on the lobster salad flat version yet that still costs 70€...
