We had the linguine marina and the beef cheeks one of the daily specials, they both tasted nice. The pasta was cooked al dente and the tomato sauce had a nice flavour, however the amount of seafood was very scrooged like/stingy ( considering the price of the meal) and not generous which is synonymous with Italian cooking. The beef cheek was very tender and melted on the mouth but was over seasoned. There were two people that served us, the male waiter was friendly and greeted us, the female waitress however needed to work on her service skills and personality. She poured beer onto my glass but there was still plenty of beer in the bottle but she just took it away, she did not say word during...
My family and I have been to Bellocale numerous of times and every time we have loved it. The food, the people, the service, every thing is amazing. We ordered many dishes and every single dish tasted divine. Not only do the savoury dishes taste good but the desserts do as well. The service was amazing. The owners and waiters took care of us and have taken care of us every time we have dined at Bellocale. Overall the restaurant has delicious food, incredible service and amazing owners! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great place to eat whether its with family, by yourself, etc.
Change of ownership since 2016 and I have to to say the new owners Kevin & Summer deserve any awards that may be going. Their pasta was excellent, with a flexibility in the kitchen to omit any herbs we did not like. The barramundi with fresh gnocchi and spinach, with a Rocket and Parmesan and peppita salad .Both mains very good.. The desserts were a work or art and tasted terrific as well. Please everyone give this restaurant a try you will not regret it.
I have the linguine marinara which was completely average- far too much sauce. Should have ordered the Entree size, as I ordered Brusetta for starter which was far too much for one person, 1 portion is enough for 3 people to share. Also brusetta was very plain. Wouldn't recommend, and is pretty pricey. For Pasta over $30 you'd expect a much higher standard.

Garlic panini is a bit dry. You may ask for a softer texture. Scallops on a sea of crystal salt is a wonderful presentation but it's salty when u get the salt in mouth. Grilled barramundi is ok and I like the mashed potato and the side dish of sautéed veggies. Tiramisu is the queen of this dinner! Wonderful
This was our second visit as the first was an amazing experience, and the second did not disappoint either. The staff are great with amazing service and assistance. The menu is full of amazing meals, it is so hard to pick what you are going to have. A definite must visit when in Cairns
We were travelling through the east coast from Italy. We found this beautiful Italian restaurant owned by an Asian couple. We ate amazing homemade gnocchi and a fantastic homemade tiramisù. As Italians we highly recommend this nice and warm restaurant! Ciao e buon appetito :)
Had a great dinner with lovely staff. Evita took great care of us. The bugs and gnocchi were out of this world as were the desserts. All in all a great meal in a super atmosphere.

My partner and I had dinner here and the veal scallopine was amazing! Great service....! Oyster were delicious also
