We popped into Belottie 's in Cardigan while on holiday to treat my daughter to an ice cream. It appeared a lovely little place and I 'm sure it would indeed be if the service had been better. We ordered two ice creams, a pot of tea and a scone then found a seat. When it was brought the waitress huffed and said; Oh we usually leave the tables here for people eating FOOD. We usually expect others to go into the lounge. Another huff. It was very embarrassing and awkward. There was no signage explaining this or directing a person to the lounge area. My family and I went to Belotti's for lunch today. We ordered some hot drinks, I ordered a Pesto Pasta, my partner ordered a Carbonarra with a side of chips and we also ordered a childs portion of Carbonarra for my daughter. Before we ordered, Maria (one of the owners) warned us that there was going to be a wait on food as they were a chef down today which we didn't mind but the food came out pretty quickly regardless. They have a small play area and selection of books so that kept my daughter entertained. The food was amazing we all had empty plates at the end. The service was excellent and the price was reasonable.
During our visit to Cardigan, we stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. It was around 2:15pm and many places had already stopped serving lunch. Luckily, Belottis serves lunch until 3pm, so it was a perfect fit for us. We ordered the special seafood linguine and the pasta bolognese, both of which were delicious and satisfying. The staff were all very pleasant, even though we were there towards the end of their work day. We would definitely recommend this place.
Called here for lunch today. Ordered the Belotti antipasti which was delicious. It had hummus, mixed olives, stuffed peppers, salad, subs dried tomatoes, coleslaw, fresh bread and the most delicious olive oil. Perfect for one person. Sat outside in sunshine , we could have been in Italy. Good variety in menu from snacks to pasta dishes . One of my friends had chips which were also very nice. Will definitely return.

Belottis is an amazing café located in the heart of Cardigan. The food consistently maintains a high standard, with fresh and top-quality ingredients being used. I have sampled numerous Italian dishes and each one has quickly become my new favorite.
We pop in quite often and always have a great experience. Lovely cappuccino, tasty Italian meals and stupendous home made cakes. It is usually quite busy, no surprise its so popular, but the great staff take it all in their stride.
Waited ages then what a disappointment, ordered two pannini's for my wife and I, the filling in both was almost non existent, coffe came in a tiny cup, just catering for tourists who will never come again was our impression.
Had another fantastic lunch with delicious dessert at this restaurant. The staff were so lovely and welcoming. The menu is extensive, with daily specials to choose from as well.

So much nicer than going to a chain coffee shop. Busy so a bit of a wait for food, but worth it, ice cream sundaes are yum. Pleasant waiting staff.
Called in by chance on a wet lunchtime. We had a meat and vegetarian platter. Both very tasty. Would recommend others to come.
