I've visited Ben Tre in Millbrae for lunch on two separate occasions with some coworkers, and both times were delightful. I typically opt for the BBQ pork vermicelli noodles with an egg roll, as I'm not much of a Pho fan. The servings are quite generous and the food is scrumptious. The service is impressively fast, allowing you to enjoy a meal and still make it back within your lunch hour. There's street parking and a lot available, though it can get a bit crowded during peak lunch hours. The restaurant is conveniently located among other eateries and shops. All in all, it's a fantastic dining spot.
Shrimp spring rolls to begin is very refreshing, especially in a warm night. The Pho is good with a clear but rich cattle broth. The Pho comes in just one size that is like a medium size in other Pho restaurants. If you prefer a rice dish, Ben Tre makes the five-piece chicken very good. The chicken is not overcooked, as is usual in other places. The staff is super efficient and friendly. Very recommended.
Came in at lunch around 2pm. We were seated quickly but no one came to take our order. The person who seated us kept looking towards us and blatantly ignoring us while stuffing his face with food. 25 minutes later we walked out after he came to help the table next to us who came 15 minutes after we did. Not coming here again.
Today I got the number 31 and the imperial rolls were rotten! The stink up my whole bowl! I finally was able to flag a server down being that mine was nowhere to be found and be brought me new ones but still they were very rotten. Not sure what’s going on here at this place. Disappointed

Great, authentic Vietnamese restaurant! We made an exit before our flight from SFO (this is 1 exit before the airport and good to fill your rental car). Flavors were original and restaurant was nice and clean. Also Vietnamese coffee looks great.
Ordered the combo apetizer plate and combo rice noodle dish.. both were super flavorful and looked beautiful. I was so hungry and excited to eat i did not take fotos. I wish i lived closer to eat here often. I will be back if i can !

Wonderful place, fast service and high-quality food. Numbers 15 and 29 really enjoyed both dishes. We forgot our backpack when we left the restaurant and drove a staff out to give it back. Very recommended!

The 5-spice BBQ pork with garlic noodles was delicious and just the right portion size.
