I was visiting the Welland area for the day and had looked up highly rated restaurants within the general area, I'm a bit of a foodie and was anticipating a great breakfast based off their menu.I arrived at Benedicts and noticed right off the bat a strong bleachy/chlorine smell that just assaulted my nostrils as I stepped through the door. We were seated but we couldn't help but focus on the chlorine/bleach smell. Our waitress arrived at our table and politely greeted us and brought us coffee.. So a lot of my friends in Welland tell me that this was the best for breakfast in Welland. Well I guess I caught them on a bad day. When in got seated ok took my order. That went fine. when they brought my meal she pretty much threw it on table and disappeared in kitchen , I never got a chance to ask for condinments I wanted. In fact never seen the waitress again . eggs were like rubber, potatoes were extremely dry and sausage was old toast was buttered bread thrown on a grill. Dont see any reason to come back here ...left me feeling like it was a bother for me to eat there

Want outstanding service, a fresh tasty, nutritious and delicious start to your day, reasonably priced breakfast served in a "neat" local historical ambiance - - THEN this is the place. Don't be surprised if you have to wait. But the wait is worth it. Brings a whole new meaning to "KISS". Don't be shy. Try it. I've eaten there often ever since they opened approximately nine years ago.

The food has always been great, I unfortunately have had some bad experiences with servers.I was explaining dietary restrictions as my friend is pregnant and the server continued to question me about where I read about the restrictions and they were not right and she rolled her eyes at me repeatedly. what a hidden gem! had a very substantial meal and my man had the regular breakfast that fulfilled his sturdy appetit. owner, john filled us into the history of the restaurant, starting from his aunt over 40 years ago. our server sherry was great! definitely stop her travel for traditional fast meals.

it's a small place, but not mistaken, eating here is absolutely murderous. my wife and I go all the time and I have to admit that it is one of our favorites? eating is fast and hot, and the price is a steal for what quality is expected?

we visited the breakfast and the food was excellent! I ordered a spinach feta omelet with a side of speck. eating was hot, fresh and perfectly prepared! the service was excellent and the prices appropriate. we will definitely return!

Nice size menu for breakfast plus specials. Parking could be in better condition. Service was friendly and knowledgeable.
