Went on a Friday night and the place was packed. Waited for a table and it was well worth the wait excellent food. We were so impressed we decided to go again on the Saturday night. Bizarrely the place was empty at about 8.50pm. Once again the food was excellent and I attempted to pass on my compliments to the member of staff who served us. Unfortunately he was not interested at all in my feedback and I was quickly dismissed as he went about other things. Most peculiar. This restaurant is not licensed however you can take your own alcohol. Top Tip there's an off licence about five doors up.
We’ve recently moved to the area and were looking for a new go to Indian- the reviews looked good so thought our first try would be bengal dream. Popadoms we’re stale and we’re sent back. Starters were tasty but the mains lacked much flavour. The chicken was quite watery on the plate like it had been microwaved rather than cooked fresh. Hopefully we just got unlucky but we won’t be rushing back
Perfect in every way, if your in the area don't even think about going to a different Indian place. I travelled up from London and was mighty impressed. Devastated they are not open on Mondays on my last night in the area... Fantastic quality food cooked to perfection can't recommend it enough...keep up the good work! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
