Chit Chat! We are the Curry Clan and we visit a different curry restaurant every month to give honest feedback on our experience! This month, we chose Bengal Lancer in Aldershot. Many of us had been to this curry house many years ago, so we were excited to revisit. Upon arrival, the atmosphere was quiet with a sense of anticipation. Our table was a bit wobbly, but we quickly fixed it with a folded place mat. It took a while for our beers and poppadum order to arrive, but the beer was cold and the poppadums eventually came, though they were a bit overpowering. I booked a table at this restaurant based on a recommendation from years ago. The restaurant now has a new owner, a polite young man who is very engaging. The food is cooked fresh, so the wait times can be a little longer, but it is definitely worth it. The tandoori dish was outstanding. After chatting with the owner about his future plans, he invited my family back to try some new menu items. We had a wonderful evening with delicious food. Even my 7 and 9-year-old children enjoyed it, and they were surprised with ice cream. The service was amazing, the food was fantastic, and overall it was a lovely experience. I wish the owner all the best and will definitely be back soon.

Such a nice place for quality food and quality time. Food was superb. We were large group and they served us well. Really appreciate for a free round drink as complimentary and few starter to test. My kids love curry. Staffs were very well trained and friendly. Impressed with their hospitality. Highly recommend!!!

Not been to Bangor lancer for quite awhile dew to it not up to my standards so I thought I would give them one more go BIG mistake I think they forgot to put the chicken in both of our dishes and the nan was not cooked so in future I will go to Johnnys Gurkhas Reserva una mesa ahora

The food was subpar at best. I would have preferred a pre-packaged meal instead. The sauce was cold, almost like it was only half heated, with some plain meat tossed in. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Lovely night, with amazing food. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and accommodating, even giving us a round of drinks as it was a birthday celebration- definitely would revisit and recommend.

We had a takeaway. Food was really nice however I do feel that certain items are very over priced. over £8 for a starter and poppadoms £1.80 each compared to £0.75 at any other takeaways.

Great service, food was lovely. Tito's customer service was spot on. The food was really nice proper traditional Bengali cuisine. Would deffo recommend Reserva una mesa ahora

Great curry friendly service. We go here a lot for eating in take away. Brilliant either way!
