Benson's Tavern - Reserva de mesa

I recently had lunch at this restaurant and my experience was quite mixed. The atmosphere was inviting and enjoyable, receiving a solid 4 out of 5, which made it a pleasant place to unwind. The service was also praiseworthy, earning another 4 out of 5 for their prompt and attentive staff. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to my expectations, receiving a disappointing rating of 2 out of 5. While the prices are reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20 per person, the quality of the meals did not reflect the overall charm of the restaurant. Based solely on the food, I would not recommend this establishment.

I really want to give this place an extra star, but the lack of staff holds me back. Our waitress was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and always made sure our drinks were full. However, she was the only one handling both the tables and the bar, which is quite a challenge for anyone. The food was good, the beer was cold, and the restrooms were spotless—my wife even commented on how clean they were. We definitely plan to return, but probably not on a day when we're in a hurry. I highly recommend the Reuben rolls; they disappeared so quickly that I didn't even get a chance to take a picture!

Made reservations for a party of 15. We were the only customers in the dining room. Drinks took forever and appetizers as well. Ordered our food and it was brought out 2 plates at at time then ten minutes later 2 more people got their food. This is how it went until everyone got their food. No one liked their food. At least 3 people got the fried grouper and it was terrible like the grease had never been changed. All around a very bad experience.

Went for a late dinner. It's our third time eating there. The girl bartenders was extremely friendly and attentive. The food is hit or miss but the portions are decent. I think the food quality is good, however I think they could use better trained kitchen staff. Other than that, very nice clean place. Reserva una mesa ahora

The wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Benson's Tavern. My medium rare ribeye was spot on and well seasoned and the wife's burger was awesome. The service and the atmosphere were great as well. Southwestern BBQ Burger

We had a party of six and were seated right away. Service was quick and attentive. I can personally vouch for the Grilled Beefsteak Philly and fries....

It is closed indefinitely; didn't get the opportunity to try it. Menu looked it was a good place.
