Bentomania: Curry Ramen House

This hole in the wall Japanese place specialises in Bento: a Japanese staple, containing a complete meal in a single box. We went there with the family and boy what a treat. A warm welcome by the owner, who spoke English really well. We were lucky to have three of the eight total seats become available as we came in. So, to the food: very nice miso to start, followed by chicken and red mullet bento. Excellent preparation, great flavour and at a very very friendly price level indeed. So, waste no time and get over there when you are in Lyon. Don't worry about the few seats: takeaway is available as well, just like bento is supposed to be.

Wonderful Japanese Bento style restaurant! Don't forget there for makis or sushi, those you can find everywhere in Lyon... The bento you'll have here are absolutely delicious, fresh, being made right away after ordering. The gyosas are so good and tasty, dessert is great as well. And the owner is really friendly, we had a great talk about Japanese food, and he gave us some addresses we'll certainly give a try! Totally recommended

Amazing food, amazing service. We weren’t even in the mood for Japanese, but it was convenient and we were exhausted, and would definitely revisit. Highly recommended!

Very small restaurant popular for take away. If you are a company of 2-4 I recommend eating here. Really good Sake with acceptable prices for this quality of food! Reserva una mesa ahora

Very disappointing in every aspect. You're still hungry once you're done eating, the hostess is mean and everything is small. I would not recommend.

The bento is actually really nice. But the ramen (with miso soup) is too salty, the egg is too cold. The matcha latte is also too sweet for me.

The taste of the food was okay consider that here is France. But the fodd amount is small compare to its price.
