When the bread finally arrived, it was stale, and the salad had brown edges. The cold antipasto was nothing special—just thick slices of salami and ham that could easily be found at a grocery store, along with pickled vegetables from a jar. The hot antipasto was equally unimpressive; we were served three soggy pieces of calamari.
For the next course, we had penne with vodka sauce that tasted overwhelmingly like ketchup mixed with cream—I couldn't bring myself to eat it. I ordered the eggplant, which might have been decent if they hadn’t slathered it with a very thick tomato sauce that had the texture of tomato paste.

Upon arrival, the restaurant gives the impression of being closed off, with paper covering the windows and its location beneath a budget motel. Inside, the decor is outdated and unappealing, contributing to a lackluster atmosphere. Our group of six found the food to be bland, with three of us particularly dissatisfied and unlikely to return. The waiter had a quirky, dry sense of humor that fell flat and came off as rude rather than amusing. One of my friends enjoys the restaurant primarily because it's BYOB and offers low prices, but I believe you truly get what you pay for.

We were there after a memorial up the road at Gate of Heaven Cemetary on Nov 30th. It was a larger party which had the prefixed meal, the meals I’m regarding were the Rigatoni alla vodka appetizer everyone received and an order of the chicken francaise (I believe was the entree).
BYOB!!!The food and atmosphere are enough to dine on without the lovely company. If the atmosphere were any nicer, I’d not have had an appetite because I’d be sleeping on my own couch in the back!They say never bite the hand that feeds, and here at Benvenuti’s Ristorante, there’s no need.And thank goodness! Because, the only thing larger than Al’s hands are the size of his big Italian heart.

My husband and I ordered takeout from here last night for Christmas Eve and fell in love with our food! DELICIOUS and affordable Italian food. Enjoyed eggplant parmesan and seafood with capellini pasta. We will definitely be coming here again!
This restaurant is one of those tucked away gems. The atmosphere is a blend of high class and family kitchen. Plates price between 17 for pasta and 25 for seafood well priced for the dishes they serve because it is delicious!
Came here with my family for Christmas Eve dinner. Food was classic Italian. Service was exceptional even with the holiday overwhelm. Great for family.get togethers or a date night.
Excellent food,fantastic service, Al is a wonderful gentleman and the atmosphere is charming. Will definitely be going back again.

Excellent steak I had mine made spicy with hot fresh peppers. Was cooked perfectly and overcooked to a cardboard state
